Application: Basketball, tennis, volleyball floors
Non-waterproof carpet, total thickness 1.6-2 mm, acrylic base, enriched with fine-grained hard aggregate (eg quartz sand), highly resistant to ultraviolet rays and intensive use, with a uniform final surface (without joints), matte, coarse and non-slip. ITF certified materials. The carpet is applied on an existing layer of asphalt and the application steps are as follows:
Smoothing layer: A mixture of a special asphalt emulsion and fine-grained aggregate (eg quartz sand) is applied in two or three superimposed and intersecting layers, in order to create the appropriate surface that will receive the acrylic carpet.
Cushion elastomeric layer (Optional): This layer offers a high sense of elasticity during sports, greater spin and more comfort and consists of 2 or 3 intersecting layers with elastomeric material (cushion).
Acrylic synthetic carpet (lamination layer): It is cast in two (2) overlapping and intersecting layers, using a special elastic spatula (racket). The material used contains styroacrylate polymers and other fine-grained aggregates (quartz sand), which provide very good abrasion resistance. There are no restrictions on the color of the carpet (red, green, blue, orange, or any combination of RAL colors).
Laying: The delineation of the field is done in the dimensions defined in the relevant standard specifications in the G.G.A. and with indelible colors, compatible with acrylic carpet.
